A new executive board has been recently elected. Congratulations Jack Johnson, our new President. He will play a key role in taking our chapter even further.

Our VP of Recruitment, Collin Huggins, has signed 35 new members. This has pulled our membership back up to over 90 current members, placing us in the top 5 fraternities on campus for membership.

SigEps still boasts excellence in academics. We were first in grades last spring quarter with a 3.44 and 2nd in grades Winter quarter with a 3.41. We’ve placed top three in grades 15 out of the last 18 quarters.

This fall we ran three full teams of IMA football and participated in a variety of other sports. We have a new system to emphasize our belief in a sound body.
With the “SigEp Olympian,” program, members are encouraged to record their physical activities on a weekly basis and compare themselves to other members. Top members earn prizes for their accomplishments at the end of the year.

Our Service Chair has put a new service learning program in place this year. Members are required to partake in a service event in the community with at least five other brothers and for at least three hours each quarter. In addition, the date has been set for our annual philanthropy, SPE karts, where, among other activities, we host a car show in red square that displays over 75 cars worth close to 10 million dollars. This will be taking place April 7th-15th.

This year SigEp has also began to participate in what members are calling “SigEp Takeover,” where campus involvement has become a high priority. We aim to have influence on the entire student body by becoming involved in leadership positions all across campus. We currently have several members on IFC and the ASUW.

With excellence in manpower, academics, sports, philanthropy, and campus involvement, our Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity is among the top chapters on campus, and soon to be, without question, the top fraternity on campus.
